A new baby brings me great joy – especially if it’s not me being woken for a feed!!
With a much longed for baby arriving a couple of weeks ago I had great pleasure planning and making a new baby gift, and of course a big sister gift:)
The tag blanket was so quick and easy to make, and after my tidy of the sewing room I knew I had this great teddy fabric (long forgotten about). I used this great tutorial, which I love as it involves upcycling a former wipes packet for a satisfying crinkling noise.
For the big sister I used my remaining stretchy fabric from pattern testing the uptown/downtown dress to make an age 3 dress – perfect.
What are your favourite handmade baby gifts? I have started a pinterest board, which I would love to add to. Have you any favourite makes, or tutorials??
With another baby due in December I have a great excuse to start sewing two lots of gifts, new baby gifts and Christmas gifts:)
